So I wanted to share with you one of my thrift store finds from the weekend before Christmas. I found it by accident when I decided to take a closer peek at a white wicker headboard. I had eyed the wicker headboard for weeks but would just walk on by because I knew I could not bring it home but on this particular Saturday something beckoned me toward it and I obeyed! The wicker headboard had fallen over and was leaning over on a pile of other things . Once I lifted up the wicker one to take a closer look at it everything changed! There hiding underneath the wicker headboard was the cutest, sweetest twin sized moss green upholstered headboard....and also its sister which was a golden yellow. I was in love and it was instant....what wicker headboard?? Of course I pulled it out almost injuring myself in the process with all the other headboards resting over on my sweet little one but I got it out and had quiet the grin on my face! Of course like most things I pick up there it wasn't priced so I started deciding in my head what my top price would be and what I would love to pay for it. OK top price $10.00 and love price $3.00. I headed to the checkout already completely wondering if I should also take its golden sister too instead of leaving her there all alone but I didn't I have been trying to shop smarter and I only really wanted the moss green one....I approached the checkout and asked how much my sweet little headboard was and she said $5.00? OK! I will take it! So I loaded her up along with a few other little things I managed to find and headed home....knowing exactly what I would be doing with it.
